Q.How come have I
never heard of this before?
A.While this is not
really a new technique, it is new to Southern California. A well-known dentist
in Chicago has been providing this service for his patients for 30 years. We are one of the first Dentists in Orange County to do 6 month braces.
Q.Since the teeth
are moving so fast won’t this hurt?
A.No.With 6 month braces we use very light forces
24 hours a day 7 days a week for the entire time you have your braces on. We
never tighten your braces per se as with traditional braces and so we don’t
develop the strong forces associated with braces. We have less complaint of
soreness with 6 month braces than traditional braces.
Q.What is the cost?
A.In my dental office in Orange we charge about half of the average traditional braces case or full
Invisaligntm case.
Q.Do I need to wear
retainers after 6 month braces?
A.Yes.After any type of braces the teeth need to
be retained,
6 month braces are no different.
Q.Am I going to
have a metal mouth?
A.No, we use tooth

A.Most adults that
have crowed and crooked teeth can benefit from 6
